any ideas for a novice who might have created a blotched batch?

okay, my husband has been brewing his own beer for a while and inspired me to try my hand at wine making. I made a simple recipie from frozen concernate and fresh grapes. every peice of equipment, including my hands were cleanded and sterlized during the process and the wine ( now done) actually tastes okay. But 1-2 days after sampling a couple glasses I got sick with a stomch bug. My quetion is could there be any bactreia in the wine that could make someone sick and if possible can you test for it? and how to prevent it?...of crouse it could be a concidence but I would like some info before I try another glasssmile
